Susan Wortzman
Susan Wortzman - CV

Susan Wortzman is the founder of Wortzman Nickle Professional Corporation based in Toronto, Ontario.

Currently, Ms. Wortzman's practice focuses on providing e-discovery advice and litigation management support to law firms and corporations. Ms. Wortzman was formerly a partner in one of Canada's leading litigation firms. Her practice focused on broad spectrum of complex litigation. She acted primarily as counsel for corporate clients in a wide variety of commercial disputes.

Ms. Wortzman has delivered numerous lectures and written several seminal papers concerning e-discovery and its impact on litigation in Canada. She has chaired and participated in professional committees that have developed provincial and national guidelines for e-discovery.

Ms. Wortzman is a member of the Advocates' Society and the E-Discovery Task Force SubCommittee in Ontario. Ms. Wortzman is the Chair of the Sedona Canada Working Group which has developed national guidelines for e-discovery in Canada. Despite a busy schedule, Ms. Wortzman runs daily and has completed several North American marathons.

Susan Nickle practices law with Wortzman Nickle Professional Corporation based in Toronto, Ontario. She provides legal advice regarding e-discovery, records management and litigation management support to law firms and corporations.

Ms. Nickle has a diverse and relevant professional history. She previously practiced with one of Canada's leading litigation firms where she gained experience in commercial and medical negligence litigation, and class action proceedings. Prior to entering law, Ms. Nickle held positions with IBM Canada Ltd., the Ontario Ministry of Labour, and in the investment and insurance industry.

Ms. Nickle is a member of the Advocates' Society, is a Director on several Boards relating to children’s health and the arts, and is an active member of the Sedona Canada Working Group which developed the national guidelines for e-discovery. She regularly writes about e-discovery issues, and has presented at e-discovery and records management conferences across the country.


Susan Caskey
Susan Caskey - CV

Susan Caskey practices law with Wortzman Nickle Professional Corporation based in Toronto, Ontario.

Ms. Caskey was formerly a partner with one of Canada’s leading boutique litigation law firms where she specialized in commercial litigation, securities law and administrative law. She moved in 2000 from private practice to take on the role of in-house counsel at a large media company. Currently, Ms. Caskey provides legal advice and litigation support to other law firms and corporations in the area of e-discovery and records management.

Ms. Caskey is also a founding member of Partners in Art, an organization which she incorporated "not for profit" and for which she obtained charitable status. She is also very dedicated to supporting Sick Kids Hospital Foundation.

Ms. Caskey loves her family, travelling, skiing, tennis and golf (when she’s playing well).
